Early Detection of Cancer in Children

Year after year, the incidence of cancer in children continues to increase. Number reached 2-4% of all cancer incidence in humans. 8 TYPES OF CANCER that is often found in children


1. Leukemia
Leukemia or blood cancer is the cancer most often found in children. The amount is approximately 30% of all cancers in children. The highest incidence occurs in children aged 3-6 years.

2. Brain Tumors

3. Retinoblastoma

4. Cancer Lymph Nodes
This disease has the highest incidence rate in children aged 5-7 years.
Symptoms to look out for:
* Enlarged and swollen lymph nodes are progressive in the neck, armpit, or groin. Generally the symptoms are not accompanied by signs of infection.
* Children become weak, lethargic, and decreased appetite.


5. Neuroblastoma
Cancer primitive sympathetic nerve can occur in various parts of the body. The most frequently experienced were kidney son gland (adrenal supra renal). Symptoms are quite varied depending on tumor location and disease. But generally, the symptoms initially hard to identify. Most people come at an advanced stage.

6. Kidney Cancer

7. Muscles Cancer Lurik (Rabdomiosarkoma)
Cancers that originate from the striated muscle tissue can occur anywhere. In children usually occur in the head, neck, bladder, prostate, and vagina.
